Anonymous play statistics help improve Afterglow Drive.
We record a random browser identifier, game starts, finishes, retries, last course position, finish times, grades, boosts, collisions, flashback use and game version. No name, email or precise location is requested. Our game statistics database does not store your IP address.
Closing or suspending a tab may be counted as an estimated exit after 30 minutes. Records are stored on the game's server. Hosting providers may maintain their own operational logs.
Boost practice and actual driving automatically record bounded tutorial steps, touch/release/cancellation categories, charge-condition categories (such as offroad, steering direction and speed threshold), charge and boost outcomes, and practice lack-of-progress checkpoints. No touch coordinates are stored. The automatic logging opt-out below also applies to these events. Startup diagnostics record a random ID for each page load, game version, browser family and major version, operating-system family, startup stages, timings and error categories. They do not contain nicknames, typed text, access tokens, raw error messages or URLs. Diagnostic records are accessible only to the operator. Records older than 30 days are excluded from lookup and removed in bounded batches as new reports arrive. Help also lets you explicitly send a problem report with a diagnostic snapshot, optional symptom and optional description (up to 500 characters). Please do not include personal information. Only the operator can view these reports; the same retention policy applies. Clicking Send transmits that report even if automatic statistics are opted out; the opt-out remains unchanged. If sending fails, your text remains on screen for retry or manual copying.
